Southdown provides support to over 9,500 vulnerable people each year across Sussex to help them live their life to the full. We do this through a range of tailored community-based services that support people to develop, maintain and improve good health, well-being and independence.

Services we provide include: care and support for people with learning and physical disabilities, mental health recovery services, employment support, community well-being services, housing support services for people at risk of homelessness and supported accommodation.

Work in Mind is a successful service in East Sussex to help people accessing IAPT therapy treatment for stress, anxiety and low mood into new employment/retain existing employment. Working in partnership and co-located with Health in Mind.

Role

You will manage a caseload of clients to assist them to achieve their individual employment goals, such as sustain paid employment or retain their existing job role. You will complete an initial assessment identifying employment support needs and then deliver bespoke sessions to meet these needs and provide person centred guidance. We are embedded into Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and are co-located with Health in Mind clinicians who provide therapy support for clients.

£23,713-£25,297 per year plus £1000 essential car user allowance, pro rata
