The IPS Grow Fidelity Assurance Lead plays a central role in ensuring high‑quality delivery of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model within the Connect to Work programme. The postholder will conduct on‑site fidelity reviews, produce actionable reports, facilitate shared learning networks, and support services in implementing improvements that enhance employment outcomes. This is an opportunity for experienced IPS practitioners to use their expertise to drive national impact within a supportive and mission‑focused organisation.

Role

  • Conduct IPS fidelity reviews.
  • Produce clear, accurate fidelity reports and support action planning.
  • Facilitate Communities of Practice to promote shared learning.
  • Engage collaboratively with services and stakeholders to strengthen IPS delivery.
  • Contribute to national webinars, workshops, and wider IPS Grow objectives.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Fidelity Reviews

  • Train to become an IPS fidelity reviewer.
  • Coordinate and deliver on‑site fidelity assessments.
  • Produce concise, insightful, and accurate fidelity reports.
  • Support services to implement measurable and effective action plans.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain consistent communication with IPS providers throughout the review process.
  • Adapt communication style to engage stakeholders at all levels, including accountable bodies.
  • Identify impactful case studies to promote the fidelity assurance process.
  • Facilitating Learning Networks & COPs

  • Use fidelity findings to shape local Communities of Practice.
  • Deliver in‑person COPs that drive reflection, learning, and quality improvement.
  • Support national learning events including webinars and workshops.

The person

Skills, Experience & Knowledge

  • Demonstrable experience working in an IPS service (e.g., Employment Specialist, Team Leader, IPS Trainer).
  • Strong understanding of the IPS model and fidelity scale.
  • Proven ability to deliver high‑fidelity IPS practice and quality improvement.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, performance‑driven environments.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
