The IPS Grow Regional Lead (North West) is a senior regional role supporting IPS services to deliver high-fidelity, evidence-based employment support. Working closely with providers, commissioners and regional stakeholders, the successful candidate will help services improve quality, performance and outcomes while contributing to the continued growth of IPS across the region.

Role

This role focuses on translating IPS research and best practice into effective, on-the-ground delivery. The postholder will provide technical support, mentoring, fidelity reviews and stakeholder engagement, helping services overcome challenges, improve performance and embed high-quality IPS delivery across the North West.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular in-person and virtual visits to IPS services to support high-fidelity IPS delivery.
  • Work alongside IPS teams to model effective practice and help solve operational challenges.
  • Coach staff in employer engagement and service delivery best practice.
  • Attend vocational unit meetings and support engagement with commissioners and health system leaders.
  • Provide recommendations to overcome organisational barriers to IPS delivery.
  • Mentor IPS Team Leaders in supervision, performance management and staff development.
  • Support services to deliver racially equitable and client-centred IPS services.
  • Facilitate fidelity reviews, guided self-assessments and quality assurance processes.
  • Design and deliver workshops, training sessions and learning networks.
  • Build relationships with regional and national stakeholders to support IPS expansion and development.

The person

  • Significant experience delivering IPS services with recent leadership experience as a Team Leader, Senior Employment Specialist or Service Manager.
  • Strong understanding of the IPS model and fidelity principles.
  • Experience supporting service improvement, quality assurance and performance management.
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills.
  • Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders, including commissioners and senior health system leaders.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to translate evidence and research into practical service improvements.
  • A commitment to equitable, person-centred and evidence-based employment support.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the North West to support services in person.
