RAND Europe has published its independent evaluation of IPS Grow. IPS Grow is a national implementation support programme backed by NHS England and DWP. It aims to support the high-quality roll-out of IPS across mental health services in England. The RAND Europe evaluation highlighted the critical role of IPS Grow in boosting service quality and outcomes, measured through improving IPS Fidelity Review scores.

Services also reported getting value from IPS Grow – 92% of IPS services gave IPS Grow support a rating of 4 or 5 out of 5.

The evaluation concluded that national funders should provide “specific funding to maintain IPS Grow or a similar central support initiative in the future”.
