We are proud to share a significant milestone in this Impact Report: 11,241 people have moved into employment through Individual Placement and Support (IPS). This includes people receiving support through both severe mental illness and drug and alcohol services.
This achievement reflects the continued growth and impact of IPS across England, helping more people to pursue their employment goals alongside their treatment and recovery. IPS is now delivered through 203 services supporting people with severe mental illness and 100 services supporting people with drug or alcohol dependence, providing access to evidence-based employment support in communities nationwide.
Reaching more than 11,000 people into work is a testament to the dedication of IPS teams across the country and the power of employment to support wellbeing, independence and social inclusion.
IPS Grow helped us think about expansion as a system challenge, not just a service one, which gave us greater confidence that growth would be sustainable.
