We are delighted to be joining forces with Think Ahead to help bring specialist support to job seekers living with mental health problems. Think Ahead, recruits, trains, and develops the mental health workforce to provide the most effective support for people with mental health problems.  

Commissioned by NHS England, we are embarking on a two-year joint project to expand Individual Placement and Support across the country. The recruitment scheme will involve the design, pilot and roll-out of a new approach to workforce development in IPS services across England. The aim of the scheme is to support services to attract, recruit and retain Employment Specialists.   

The scheme will involve the creation of standardised job descriptions and selection processes as well as an expansion of the existing recruitment database, working closely with existing postholders to attract candidates from a range of backgrounds, and to showcase how rewarding a career in IPS can be.
