IPS Grow run a dedicated new starter programme to support new Employment Specialists and Team Leaders (IPS-SMI)/Senior Employment Specialists (IPS D&A).

The new starter programme provides free support for new Employment Specialists and Team Leaders/Senior Employment Specialists working in IPS Services for Severe Mental Illness or Drug & Alcohol Dependence.

What is the programme?

The programme includes 5 online sessions over a 3-month period, run and facilitated by our expert Senior Workforce Leads at IPS Grow. A full outline of the programme can be found here.

It also includes regular peer learning sessions and mentoring over the first 12 months in their role, access to IPS resources & e-learning and opportunities to connect with IPS colleagues nationally.

Who is eligible?

New employment specialists or team leaders/senior employment specialists working in IPS-SMI and IPS D&A services. New starters can be anyone who:

  • Started in the role in the last 6 months; or
  • Appointed but not yet started in their role

What are the dates?

New cohorts start regularly. You will be contacted following registration.
